the dentist…
I went to the dentist last week for the first time in I-don’t-know-how-many years!
The result: meh – not so good. I have lots of cavities, one of which will probably eventually need a root canal!
And it gets even worse. When I was in first grade, I flew off my bike (that’s a longer story) and broke my front right tooth. After a root canal and several other operations over the years, I eventually got a cap (essentially, a false tooth) over it. Well, the dentist told me the root canal had failed! (sounds scary, no?) Bacteria had found it’s way back into the nerve. He told me that it wasn’t my fault (like the four cavities) nor the dentist’s, it just happens. Well, it’ll just happen to cost me a lot of money (and discomfort!) to have it done again. 
But this morning, I got two of my cavities filled. So right now, I’m drooling and have a got a great headache on the left side of my face. And tomorrow morning, I have to get more fillings. Don’t know when the root canal thing will be.
